Silvered bronze. Dating to the Middle Byzantine Period from the end of iconoclasm to the Sack of Constantinople in the 4th crusade. 1 ½” (1.45”) total height. The cross bar above center with circular beam terminals and pierced halo at the junction. Surface degraded from burial, now with the silver restored.
