The period of Christian conversion which among other things, resulted in Vikings fighting valiantly in the First Crusade. A central pierced heart surrounded by a horned heart with transverse expansions at the base. The significance now lost but undoubtedly a reference to Christianity, perhaps the cross. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored on an 18” gilt Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
