Gilt bronze, over 1 1/8” (1.16”) height.  Flat edge beams with scrolls forming a halo at the junction. Central relief vacant cross with the charges and footrest delineated. The back flat and plain as with earliest examples. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored and on an 18” modern gilt Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with Certificate of Authenticity. Rare early example.
