Classic heart form. About 7/8" (0.86”) total height. Central high domed heart with engraved details surrounded by a raised heart all within the heart form. Two hearts within a heart! The edges flared and the top with winged extension with supernatural significance. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Excellent preservation. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored on a gilt sterling silver neck chain for modern wear.
