Classic heart form. Over 5/8” (0.67”) height plus the loop. Low rounded section of fully developed cusped form. The field with triple circle and dot motifs forming a trefoil.  The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Surface lightly textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored on a gilt Sterling silver 18” neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
