VIKING WOMAN'S WEDDING RING, SIZE 2 1/2
10th-11th century AD. Size 2 1/2 to be worn between the first and second joint of the small finger as was the custom. Rare variation and finely crafted. 2.2mm thick with the surface uniformly intricately nubbed for its full circumference. That motif is a variation of the rope twist popular with Vikings. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. See the reference image which shows the process. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
