Just under 1” (0.96”) height, symmetrical with a square at the junction and incised cross motif with the terminals flared as with the Templar cross of the crusaders. The incising originally inlaid with niello with remnants remaining. Carried by European Pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land to visit the land where Christ lived and died, and later by Crusaders. Professionally refurbished with the silver overlay restored on an 18” Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
