Charm size, just over 3/4” (0.79”) height including the suspension loop, with nubs at the quarter points defining a saltire. Framed central trefoil, a favorite Viking symbol. A rounded border swelled at the sides. Made by the open-face mold technique. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, and integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold restored on an 18” gilt Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
