The tips usually with circles representing Sol the sun and Mani the moon, are plain and pointed here.  The back is plain as well. As expert navigators, celestial bodies provided guidance and took on supernatural identities. This amulet was intended to invoke the help of and praise the glory of the solar system, represented by its two most prominent and influential bodies.
