Just under 3/4” width. Deep relief modeled with a domed heart of fine natural form, centered. Deeply scalloped border and nubs at the sixth point.  Both this and the natural (un-cusped) form are used profusely in Nordic literature. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Light surface texture from burial. Professionally refurbished with the silver surface restored, on a Sterling silver neck chain for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
